   Hi Katie, if that’s your real name.

   A little more background on your question would help me to answer it. Are you doing a program for the public? children? at school? at work? I am going to take a guess and presume it is for work. Work presentantions can vary too based upon your audiance. Is it factory workers? office personnel? first responders? In any event…

   Education of employees at work should focus on awareness of risks, procedures for an emergency, and of fire safety equipment.

   Risks can be something as simple as leaving the coffee pot on at night. Are the exitways being kept clear? Are all doors open during business hours? Are people storing flammable materials in the mechanical room next to the hot water heater? Are flammable liquids in approved cabinets and containers?

   Emergency procedures are important as well. If there is a fire in the building, how to you alert the rest of the occupants? Is there an alarm system? Who calls the fire dept. and from where? Upon evacuation of the building does everyone know where to meet?

   Safety equipment? - Are there fire blankets? Fire Suppression Systems? Fire Extinguishers? How do you use them properly? Are they expected to use them? Is there certain equipment that they are not to use unless specifically trained?
